  • Experts from Locus Robotics, Nomagic, and RightHand Robotics will discuss progress in piece picking in this week's webinar. The post Learn about advances in robotic case and each picking appeared first on The Robot Report .

Order fulfillment is accelerating with robotic case and each picking. Source: Anastasila AI, via Adobe Stock From robotic grippers to machine vision and artificial intelligence, progress is accelerating in automated manipulation. In this week’s webinar on robotic case and each picking, industry leaders will discuss technologies and widening use cases.

Until recently, humans could pick and place individual SKUs and cases faster and more accurately than robots. However, people tend to work in bursts, affecting accuracy; repetitive motion can lead to injury; labor is increasingly scarce and expensive. In this free webinar, attendees can learn how robots plus people can improve productivity, from collaborative picking to human-supervised exception handling.

The virtual panel will also discuss challenges in manipulating different shapes, materials, and weights, as well as how their organizations have addressed them with physical AI. The editorial roundtable, which will be on Wednesday, June 3, at noon ET , will cover: Where the need for automated picking is most acute Advances in robotic manipulation for case and each picking How the “data flywheel” is training AI-guided picking What the future looks like for human supervision Register now to attend this broadcast, get your questions answered live, and watch afterwards on demand.

About the picking experts Annie Bowlby is head of product and engineering at RightHand Robotics . She leads cross-functional collaboration to deliver the right value to customers using innovative technology and AI across logistics and industrial automation. With nearly 15 years of product management experience and a proven track record of bringing breakthrough technologies to market, Bowlby previously served as head of product at Neurala and as a product manager at Rockwell Automation .

She holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Olin College. Gina Chung is chief strategy officer at Locus Robotics , a global leader in AI-powered warehouse automation with more than 17,000 robots deployed across over 360 sites around the world. At Locus, Chung is responsible for shaping global strategy, product direction, go-to-market planning, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

She leads cross-functional initiatives that align leadership, accelerate growth, and scale the platform globally. Previously, Chung was vice president of Innovation at DHL , where she led global innovation and R&D, technology partnerships, and deployment of AI and automation across supply chain operations. She launched and operated DHL’s Americas Innovation Center in Chicago and worked with DHL’s top 100 customers to drive measurable competitive advantage.

Gina is from New Zealand and holds two degrees from the University of Auckland. Josh Cloer is a commercial leader who has consistently turned breakthrough robotics technology into tangible business results. As general manager at Nomagic , he is expanding the company’s footprint into North America, deploying physical AI solutions that bring a new level of intelligence and adaptability to fulfillment operations.

Prior to Nomagic, as a founding member of Mujin in North America, Cloer drove the go-to-market strategy and execution, scaling the business from the ground up. Earlier, at Mobile Industrial Robots ( MiR ), he helped lead the US commercial operation into the company’s top-performing region globally, establishing autonomous mobile robots ( AMRs ) as a credible and scalable solution for intralogistics across manufacturing and distribution.

Josh is a builder at the forefront of robotics innovation bringing market intuition, commercial excellence, and a proven ability to turn emerging technology into lasting change. Eugene Demaitre is the editorial director for robotics at WTWH Media, which produces Automated Warehouse , The Robot Report , the Robotics Summit & Expo , and RoboBusiness .

Prior to working for WTWH Media, Demaitre was an editor at BNA (now part of Bloomberg), Computerworld , TechTarget, and Robotics Business Review . He has participated in conferences worldwide, as well as spoken on numerous webcasts and podcasts. Gene is always interested in learning more about robotics. He has a master’s from the George Washington University and lives in the Boston area.
